Retail Security Officer - Customer Service & Safety

Pay: $15.50 per hour; after 30 completed shifts pay will be raised up to $17 per hour pending evaluations/review.

Job Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt

We operate on a 2-2-3 rotating shift (24 hours one week, 32 hours the next):

Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Shift Pattern: Mon/Tue (ON), Wed/Thu (OFF), Fri/Sat/Sun (ON) — swaps the following week.

We are seeking a professional, high-energy Security Officer to join our dedicated team in Ft. You will provide a visible safety presence for shoppers and employees, deterring theft while providing top-tier customer service. Retail Patrol: Conduct frequent foot patrols of store entrances, back room, and sales floors to ensure a safe environment.

Loss Prevention: Assist in deterring shoplifting and "shrink" through high-visibility presence and professional observation.

Customer Interaction: Act as a helpful point of contact for shoppers, providing directions and assistance with a friendly demeanor.

Incident Reporting: Use a smartphone/tablet to submit clear, digital reports regarding safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security incidents.

Equipment Management: Maintain and operate company equipment including two-way radios, and access cards.

Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Strong verbal and written English skills for report writing and customer service.
