Schedule: 8AM-5PM If you re a Family Medicine Physician who leads with heart and values meaningful connections, we d love to welcome you into our Legacy Community Health family. You ll provide comprehensive primary care to an assigned patient population partnering closely with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team to make a real difference every day. You will report to the Medical Director.

Bring your passion for whole-person care to a role that blends clinical excellence with collaboration, mentorship, and purpose. You ll evaluate, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, guide patients through diagnostics and next steps, and help shape a safe, patient-centered environment.

Comprehensive primary care, diagnostic ordering/interpretation, patient education, and supervision of Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants (NPs/PAs)

Team-based care: Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to deliver timely, efficient care

Adhere to universal precautions, infection control, and environmental safety standards

Report directly to the Medical Director with access to mentorship and growth

Initiate appropriate assessments of patient health status, from focused to comprehensive.

Identify immediate needs and determine support or referral for long-term management.

Perform physical examinations and document comprehensive health histories clearly.

Consult with colleagues, specialists, and other health professionals as appropriate.

Order pertinent diagnostic tests and procedures to support recommended therapy.

Obtain or support specimen collection for blood, urine, and stool analyses and cultures.

Supervise mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) involved in patient care.

Educate patients regarding health promotion and disease prevention.

Promote effective working relationships and team-based, timely, efficient care with high customer service standards.

Attend required safety training and understand responsibilities related to general, departmental, and job-specific safety.

Maintain work area and equipment per Legacy standards.

Participate in routine environmental audits and communicate needs as appropriate.

Demonstrate proper techniques, procedures, and correct use of protective barrier equipment (Universal Precautions).

Demonstrate organizational competencies: patient-centered care, personal accountability, initiative, continuous improvement, growth mindset, supportive team collaboration, and stewardship of resources; leaders ensure accountability, are action-oriented, develop talent, have a strategic mindset, build effective teams, and demonstrate financial acumen.

Medical Doctor (MD) with current licensure.

Ability and agreement to obtain, maintain, and participate in Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs, and payment plans of commercial insurers, HMOs, PPOs, accountable health plans, and other health benefit programs as requested by Legacy.

Ability to meet Legacy Community Health s EPIC proficiency requirements.

Demonstrated competency with an electronic health record system (EHRS).

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong typing and computer skills.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and secure information management.

Previous experience in a community healthcare setting preferred.

Work environment: potential exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and viruses; occasional work in open areas with distractions.
