RN Weekend PCU Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care for those recovering from surgery, including post-open-heart patients day 2 or 3 with pacer wires

Monitor and interpret vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient response

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and call on own consults or perform own codes

Manage BiPAP, chest tubes, and PICC lines independently

Float to ICU, Med/surg, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED as required

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Departments

KS RN or Compact RN License

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as required
