Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)JD McCarty Center is an organization that provides inpatient and outpatient therapy services to children with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking an energetic and child-centered Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team! The position requires a 40-hour work week with standard hours being Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Responsible for supervising and providing training for all Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians and to train staff on how to implement the principles of ABA therapyProvides training and support for interns studying to become BCBAsCreates and implements individualized treatment plans for each patientConducts functional behavior assessmentsIdentifies behavior strategies and interventions to implement in an attempt to reduce maladaptive behaviors with replacement skillsCollaborates across a variety of disciplines (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) to make informed decisions regarding the use of devices, equipment, and techniques when developing the child's individualized treatment planAttends JDMC functions related to promotional outings and marketing events for ABA related servicesResponsible for data collection and completing and submitting timely daily session notes and billing, in accordance with established guidelinesAssists the Director of ABA Services and the ABA Program Manager with outpatient ABA wait listConducts intake process including parent interviews, collaboration with school and other therapies, physicians, and conducting assessments and insurance requirementsCoordinates and provides presentation, education and training to all departmental staff, and maintains department orientation, in-service training, and workshop recordsCompletes other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Must maintain all current certifications including Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care and CPR/First ACan learn and grow while working as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong time management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situationsPhysical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods of time, standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day, and assisting with living skills such as feeding, toileting, showering and/or dressingRunning one-on-one sessions with clients in the event that RBTs are not availableBenefits include:Health Insurance Benefit allowance given or Opt Out allowance given with proof of health insurance.Vision, Supplemental Life, and Dependent Health, Dental, and LifeFlexible Spending plans availableDefined Contribution Retirement Plan3 weeks of Annual Leave and 3 weeks of Sick Leave per year11 paid holidays per yearLongevity Bonus after 2nd year of employmentOther benefit opportunities are available such as state employee discounts, continuing education, supplemental insurance plans, credit unions, on-site gym.
