Job Description Structural Engineer (7+ Years Experience) – RDA Consulting Engineers, LLC

We believe great engineering firms are built by developing great people. Perform structural calculations and design for high-end residential and commercial buildings.
Develop and review construction documents for pile-supported structures and coastal construction per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC.
Sign and seal structural documents as Engineer of Record.
Coordinate plans with architects and delegated engineers (mechanical, plumbing, trusses) and collaborate with in-house engineers, designers, and drafters.
Train junior engineers and oversee their projects.
Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues in the field.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).

• 7+ years of structural design experience focused on high-end residential and commercial projects (required).
• Experience with pile-supported structures and coastal construction (required).
• Design experience across wood, masonry, steel, and concrete, with proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Enercalc and Revit experience (preferred).
• Experience training and mentoring junior engineers (preferred).
