New Salem Surgery Center, a state‑of‑the‑art multispecialty surgery center in Murfreesboro, is actively seeking a dynamic and compassionate FT PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Position Overview
As a PreOp/PACU RN at New Salem Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care throughout the perioperative process. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to contribute to our team without the constraints of regular weekends, holidays, or on‑call duties.

Responsibilities

Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.

Monitor and assess patients in the post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU) during recovery.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Administer medications, manage pain, and provide postoperative education.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Skills

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.

Minimum of three years of experience in PreOp and PACU nursing.

BLS and ACLS certifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
