Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist with all work related to HVAC/Mechanical/Industrial projectsMeasure and cut pipe according to requirementsSoldering, brazing, threading pipe, grooving pipe, installing hangers as well as carbon steel pipe (up to 24")Repairing malfunctions, breakages or leaksTesting pipe systems to ensure safety and functionalityCommunicate professionally with management, superintendent and customersFollows all safety policies and procedures.Qualifications and Requirements• 2-3 Years of experience fitting pipe• Must have personal hand tools required for the position• Present yourself in a professional manner• Ability to communicate clearly with Foreman and follow direction• Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform• Must successfully pass a background check• Must successfully pass a drug testAbility to identify, install and repair mechanical pipe systems• Ability to read blueprints• Ability to recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the trade as needed• Knowledge of cutting and welding methods• Ability to abide by basic safe work practicesMust successfully pass a background check & drug test.High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.Material Handling:? lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs.
