Facility Housekeeper (Full-Time)

HousekeeperHousekeeper reports to Housekeeping Supervisor and assists in the physical cleaning of all college facilities. Essential Functions include cleaning assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease, gathering and disposing of trash, linen service as required, polishing floors using buffing machine and polish, stripping and refinishing floors as necessary, utilizing proper PPE for given duties, assisting other parts of the facilities team as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and involves strenuous physical activity. This is a full-time position working Tuesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand. No travel is expected for this position.Competencies include ethical conduct, stress management/composure, teamwork orientation, thoroughness. Preferred Qualifications include physical demands such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, lifting or moving up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally, and specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
