Senior HR Generalist, Employee Relations and Recruitment

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Sacramento based client to identify a Senior HR Generalist to provide broad, hands-on human resources support across a multi-state organization. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who excels in employee relations, HR compliance, benefits and leave administration, recruiting support, and HRIS management. The Senior HR Generalist will partner closely with employees, managers, and leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality HR guidance while supporting key HR programs, documentation, and organizational initiatives.

• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to employees and managers across multiple states.

Support employee relations, including coaching, performance concerns, investigations, and corrective action documentation.
Assist with recruiting, candidate coordination, staffing agency communication, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Track leaves of absence and workplace accommodations in accordance with policy and law.
Assist with performance review cycles, documentation, and manager follow-up.
Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel files, and confidential employee records.
Prepare HR reports, notices, correspondence, and documentation.
Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support HR projects, audits, policy updates, reorganizations, and process improvements.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and documentation.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paylocity, HiBob, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
