Dishwasher - Part time & Full-time - Evening shift

Job Details Location: Dukes La Jolla - La Jolla, CA 92037.
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Full‑time and part‑time positions available.
Schedule & Availability Preferred availability for dinner shifts: 2:30PM - 6:00PM to about 10:30PM.Required availability on weekends and holidays. Other scheduling may be considered.

How to Be Successful Provide the highest level of service for our guests. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and perform general restaurant maintenance.
Essential Functions Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a mechanical dishwasher or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment into storage areas or cooking lines.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
Stock supplies such as dishes, pans, and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, salad bars, and on the cook’s line.
Prepare various foods for cooking or serving, including cleaning, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
Assist in plating and garnishing desserts as needed.
Pull mats and sweep floors; clean garbage cans with water and detergent.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Set up or break down the dish station, including assembly and disassembly of the dishwasher.
Use appropriate sanitizing agents; change water at least every two hours.
Perform day‑to‑day maintenance within the restaurant (replenish batteries and light bulbs, break down cardboard boxes, deposit supplies in appropriate receptacles).
Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, ceiling fans, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand trucks using proper safety methods.
Notify managers of major repairs and supervisors of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Be dependable, arrive on time, and follow all attendance policies.
Work safely and report any safety concerns.
Follow food‑safety program guidelines for handwashing, bare‑hand hygiene, and health.

At least 16 years of age.
Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and use hands/fingers constantly.
Squat or kneel frequently.
Bend frequently.
Lift/carry 11-20lbs constantly.
Lift/carry 21-50lbs occasionally.
Push/pull 10-25lbs constantly; push/pull 26-40lbs occasionally.
Work Environment The kitchen is fast‑paced, high‑energy, and moderately noisy, with a mixture of personality types. Conditions can become crowded, hot, and high‑pressure.
