Job Description:

Required Education & Licensure

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing .

Current NYS RN License .

BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or client).

Note: Unit-specific requirements are listed in the Compliance Matrix.

Required Experience & Skills

Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years.

Five (5) + years of direct experience required.

Management Experience of zero (0) to three (3) years.

Strong proficiency in:

Collaboration

Communication (verbal & written)

Judgement/Critical Thinking

Organizational Understanding H.

Planning (Organizing, Time Management)

Problem Solving

Quality

Reliability

Safety and Risk Management.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. (2+ years in psych preferred for this department).

Certifications:

Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.

Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the home unit assigned.
