Head of Accounting (Remote)

Cost Accounting Manager (99% Remote)
Location: Remote (Monthly onsite required in Winona, MN)
Compensation: Competitive + 10-15% Bonus
Remote flexibility with limited onsite requirements (primarily during month-end)
Opportunity to modernize and improve a highly manual cost accounting function
Hands‑on role with ownership of core accounting and operational processes
Exposure to ERP systems and process optimization initiativesStable, growing manufacturing company with long-term investment in operations
Lead cost accounting processes including inventory, WIP, and product costing
Partner with operations to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Enhance ERP data and reporting (Navision/AS400 preferred)
Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflows
5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution
Strong understanding of inventory, WIP, and cost structures
Navision or AS400 preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
