Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

Ob/Gyn Opening in Culpeper, VA 70 miles from Washington, DC Position Details:

• Seeking to employ a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join an amazing team.

• Providers care for women with both low- and high-risk pregnancies. The obstetrics and gynecological surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine sub-specialists work with referring physicians in the community to provide comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies. When medically necessary, the practice works with affiliated medical center nearby to transfer care, where the NICU and other advanced services are available for women and babies.
• Seven call shifts per month (24-hour)
• Day after call there are no clinical responsibilities
• 50-60 deliveries/month
• Average of 24 patients a day in clinic
• Blocked OR time
• Access to Davinci robot
• Loan repayment offered

Qualifications: Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.
