Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Flex Shift)

Where You Will Work
Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department provides 24‑hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and the surrounding communities, delivering high‑quality care for patients of all ages. The 36‑bed emergency department is a Level III trauma center with board‑certified emergency medicine providers and resources for resuscitation and surgery. The team also serves as a Chest Pain Center and has on‑call specialists available for consultation to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program

At least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire

One year of inpatient RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and clear communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Compensation

Base compensation listed within the pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training

Premium pay such as shift and on‑call compensation

Incentive pay for select positions

Opportunity for annual increases based on performance
