CNC Machine Operator

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision parts that meet required specifications and quality standards. Ensures proper setup, operation, inspection, and documentation while adhering to safety and production requirements.

Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints

Load raw materials and monitor machine operation; make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency

Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments to ensure conformance to dimensional tolerances

Interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions to guide machining operations

Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment and materials

Complete required documentation and production reporting accurately

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment of work area

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

High school diploma or GED required

• Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing (preferred)
• 2-4 years of machining or related manufacturing experience
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Frequent use of hands for operating machinery and handling materials

Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard

Frequently work near moving mechanical parts

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. The hiring range for this position is typically $19.00 - $25.00 hourly.
