To provide professional care to service users, aimed at preventing disease and maintaining good health care.**Pay:****Schedule:** **Job Responsibilities*** Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities* Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported* Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel* Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration* Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled* Conduct medication closest assessments* Collect health related data* Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician* Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team* Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported**Requirements*** Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program* Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.* Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
