Burpee has been in business for almost one hundred fifty years and is the most trusted brand in home gardening. The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for providing retail merchandising coverage within an assigned territory. The main responsibilities are to provide service to Burpee retail accounts. This includes providing quality merchandising assistance with product orders, display setup, and display maintenance/replenishment, among other responsibilities.

Access Burpee's retail customer portal regularly for work assignments, shipment updates and projects, as assigned by the Retail Merchandising Manager (RMM).

Assemble and dismantle Burpee Seed displays, racking, and store fixtures.

With Burpee Quality in mind, neatly arrange, straighten and organize displays.

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with store management.

Complete all weekly reporting and documentation accurately and on time, as assigned by your Regional Merchandising Manager (RMM). This includes but is not limited to: Submitting reorders for assigned retail accounts, monitoring Burpee inventory, sending updates of your findings to your RMM, and itemizing unsold packets at the end of the season.

Effective communicator with the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Have a smart phone with internet, email access, and the ability to download/use apps.

Required to present a valid drivers' license and auto insurance.

Work with a well-known, trusted gardening brand. Enjoy flexible, independent field work. Help keep displays looking great and products fully stocked. Build merchandising and retail experience for future roles.
