Community Supports Manager
Schedule: Part Time; Full Time
Our DSPs support adults with disabilities in building skills, creating meaningful routines, and living more independently. If youre compassionate, reliable, and ready to help others thrive, this could be a great fit for you. Direct Support Professionals provide support for individuals to access the community with a focus on preferred choice of activity and goals as identified by the member in their Person-Centered Plan. Direct Support Professionals will provide a range of supports to the individual as identified in the person-centered plan to ensure they are meeting their goals. They will be transporting individuals into the community in their vehicle, so a valid drivers license is required.
Provide instructional support while assisting members with the implementation of their yearly Person-Centered Plan goals.
Promote quality community connections for members while seeking and developing opportunities in community settings.
Provide transportation for members in the community using your personal vehicle. (Work with individuals of all abilities including those with personal care needs and behavioral accommodations. DSPs will be trained accordingly and should have a firm understanding of the requirements of the member they are supporting.
Work in various seasonal weather conditions.
Written, typing, and verbal communication skills.
Compassion for those with differences, and an interest in supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
training will be provided if needed
MANDT certification preferred, training will be provided if needed
Prior experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
training will be provided if needed
Carry Mandatory Auto Insurance of no less than 100K/300K
18-20 Hourly Wage
