Weekend Store Keeper (Part Time Weekends)

Education & Experience An associate degree in business administration, retail sales or marketing is preferred; 2 years' experience in staff management and development or combination of education and experience. Able to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per Salvation Army Policy. Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with customers, management and co workers.
Basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of the Point of Sales System; the payroll program, Microsoft Office Suite and all other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSA ARC.
Supervisory Responsibility: - In conjunction with the Regional Manager recruit, interview and recommend for hire Store staff. - Train and supervise the store staff. - Review and approve time and attendance for store personnel using the current payroll system. The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Travel: May be required to travel to various locations for work or training as well as monthly management training. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical retail store/warehouse environment. Full-time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
