This campus supports over 3000 births annually and serves as a referral hospital for our 4 other network maternity hospitals and for other regional facilities outside our network. Our hospitalists serve as the primary teaching faculty for the ob/gyn residents and medical students, and they work closely with our maternal fetal medicine physicians for management of high-risk patients. Newborn services include a Level IV NICU and access to our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital pediatricians, including medical and surgical specialists. Limited hospital-based gynecology care may also be performed. Opportunities exist for participation in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and healthcare administration.For nearly 100 years LVHN has operated independent residency programs in the Lehigh Valley area with a goal to provide the next generation with skills to be leaders, clinicians, and academicians. We offer an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and recently established a new Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
