Event Servers NEEDED - Seasonal & Part-Time

Position Title

In-Seat Waiter/Waitress (Part-Time Seasonal) at The Ballpark at America First Square

Seasonal, event-based role from April to September.

Pay Range

$16.00 to $16.00 per hour

Summary

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to patrons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service.

Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.

Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. Provide knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.

Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.

Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others; remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.

Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.

Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.

Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.

Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.

Ensure that the service area is properly set up before and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting sanitation standards.

Operate a variety of equipment.

Work with staff of other departments to perform duties during special events and functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid servers' permit.
