Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Sonography/Ultrasound Technologist to join a talented imaging team dedicated to providing top-notch care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct vital diagnostic examinations, collaborate with exceptional healthcare professionals, and bring peace of mind to patients through exceptional imaging techniques.

Main Responsibilities

Conduct a wide range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts evaluations

Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, articulating every step with care and understanding

Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of superior diagnostic images

Handle and maintain imaging equipment vigilantly, ensuring any malfunctions are reported immediately

Accurately document all procedures and maintain detailed patient records within our electronic medical system

Keep abreast of the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices to enhance service delivery

Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field

Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
