Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active NH or compact RN license and ACLS certification.
Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 13-week assignment
• Defined workweek runs Sunday 12:01am through the following Saturday 11:59pm
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced local rate

Requirements
Active NH RN license (or compact) required, or must be eligible to obtain one
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
CPI certification required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
Clinical experience preferred
Specialty certification preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required
Additional Information
Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all assigned ED areas
Assess patients on admission including medical history, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
Participate in planning and implementing written care plans under physician direction
Perform standard patient assessments using basic equipment
Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Interact positively with team members and patients while respecting cultural, lifestyle, religious, and age-related differences
Accept constructive criticism and manage emotional responses professionally
Membership in a professional nursing organization is valued
