Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at the time of application).
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required.
Flu immunization mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided.
