Occupational/Physiotherapist

Physical Therapist - Contingent/IRP Location: East Hospital - Tower (0397). Shift: First Shift. Overview The IRP-Allied Health team consists of licensed or certified professionals who work within a team structure to offer inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, general medical, vascular, or musculoskeletal conditions. The physical therapist (PT) reports to the director of rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities The physical therapist is part of a multidisciplinary team effort to provide appropriate care. Upon referral, the PT will assess patients and establish plans of care in collaboration with the patient and other team members; and facilitate continuing care planning. The PT ensures coordination of services with other therapists, rehab staff, physicians, nurses, and Patient Care Resource Managers.
Qualifications Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
License to practice physical therapy in the state of Ohio or eligibility to take the licensure examination.
Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy school clinical internship.
One year’s experience working in a medical setting preferred.
