Dental Hygienist

Community Health Centers of Burlington is seeking a full time Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to CHCB patients. CHCB's Dental Hygienists are responsible for evaluating patient oral health, dental/medical history, dental complaints, and completing dental hygiene procedures in a public health setting. Basic Qualifications

Vermont State License in Dental Hygienist with Local Anesthetic Endorsement
Current CPR/AED Certification
3 years of experience desired but not required; new graduates welcome!

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of oral hygiene and periodontal care

Ability to work and communicate with a large group of professionals; dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and leadership staff

Knowledge of dental medical emergencies

Knowledge of public health, social and economic factors that impact the health and oral health of patients

The ability to travel to other CHCB locations as necessary

Dental hygiene specifics:

All adult prophies 60 min+ appointment time provider (dental hygienist) has the ability to add time to appointments as necessary
Flexibility with working hours create your "ideal" schedule!
3 active dental sites option to work at 1, 2 or all 3 once full orientated
