Driver/Material Handler (Warehouse)

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for material handling in warehouse environment and transporting, delivering, and picking up material safely and efficiently Responsibilities Include:

Driving delivery vehicles including but limited to a 26-foot Box Truck or pickup truck
Crating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipment
Receiving and stocking inbound shipments
Pulling outbound shipment for transport or use in company facilities
Loading materials on trucks
Safely securing material to be transported
Represent Armor's core values while interacting with external customers and vendors
Additional tasks as assigned by manager

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY

This position interacts with the shipping supervisor, warehouse supervisor, plant personnel, as well as external and internal customers on a daily basis.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent CDL required Prior delivery experience is preferred

EQUIPMENT USED

This position will be using company vehicles and a forklift.

WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

This position works on the shipping dock, outside and in company vehicles.
