2nd Shift - Bartender, The Bistro - Full Time

Bartender
The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking a full-time bartender to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for an experienced bartender who takes pride in polished service, professional presentation, and creating a welcoming private club experience in a stable, non-tipping environment.
CCY offers a professional, service-focused setting that stands apart from the typical bar atmosphere. Our bartenders enjoy steady hourly compensation, a respectful team environment, and schedules that avoid the late-night pace often associated with bar work. You'll help create memorable experiences for members and guests who value attentive, high-quality service.
What you'll receive:

Competitive hourly wage | $18–$20/hour, dependent on experience
Non-tipping facility | Compensation is based on skill and performance, not gratuities
Predictable scheduling | Shifts typically end by 11:00PM, depending on event schedules, rather than extending into late-night bar hours
Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; company-paid short-term disability and life insurance
Time off & retirement: paid time off (PTO); floating holiday; 401(k) with employer contribution
Complimentary staff meals | Provided during each shift
Dynamic work environment | Member events, private functions, and special occasions provide variety throughout the year
What we're looking for:

Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, or similar environment preferred
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service standards
Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with club events
