Pay Range: $70,304.00 – $72,000.00 per year

The base salary range for this position is $70,304 - $72,000 per year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences. Factors that may be used to determine your actual starting salary may include your education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, the market data for your work location, and internal comparison to other employees who hold a similar role.

Summary Position

As a Resource Family Social Worker for Aspiranet, you will have the opportunity to work from a place of deep meaning and impact supporting foster and adoptive families. You’ll be a part of a team that focuses on helping families and foster children thrive. Although your primary responsibility is to manage a small caseload, your real job, the job you’ll remember, is to provide these families and children with compassion and guidance so that they can succeed together.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized support and case management services for family, children and youth.

Link clients to information and referral resources, adoption competent professionals, and services/programs for at-risk children and families.

Provide access to educational and resource materials, including agency adoption libraries.

Provide crisis assessment/intervention and follow-up services.

Facilitate support groups for children, youth and adults.

Provide support counseling and coaching to parents related to implementing trauma, attachment, and permanency-informed techniques.

Strengthen families and children in the early phases of the adoption process to increase protective factors that will minimize the likelihood of disruption/dissolution.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work or similar discipline

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, Internet Explorer

Meets all state-required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e., Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.

Work Environment & Schedule

Some evenings and occasional weekends required, to meet client schedules

Travel throughout Fresno County required
