No telemetry
Beds: 20 private rooms
Adults: 1:5

EMR: EPIC

Charge Nurse: Present every shift; CNAs: Available PM shift and as needed on nights Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend PM shift: Saturday & Sunday NOC shift: Friday & Saturday

Holiday Requirement: One major holiday
Provided by facility; Monitoring/Respiratory:
No telemetry
Continuous respiratory monitoring available (O2 sat, RR, HR, ETCO2)
Adult HFNC allowed via mobile device
Peds requiring HFNC transfer to ICU pending tertiary transfer

Adult hospitalists & intensivists onsite 24/7
Shifts: 12-hour shifts
Floating: Only to other Med-Surg units
Orientation: 3–4 shifts with preceptor
Peds: RSV, croup, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, GI cases, straightforward post-ops
Adults: Women’s health, adolescents, alcohol withdrawal, dementia/geriatrics, ENT post-ops, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, urosepsis, plastic surgery, SBO, bowel resections

Pediatric and Adult Med-Surg experience required
