About Us: 36 Granada is renowned for its exceptional service, refined atmosphere, and exquisite cuisine. The Server Assistant (Backwaiter) plays a crucial role in supporting servers and ensuring a flawless, high-end dining experience. Guest Service & Experience
Assist servers in delivering attentive, unobtrusive, and polished service.
Anticipate guest needs by offering water, bread, and additional accompaniments.
Provide a seamless dining experience, working in sync with servers and kitchen staff.
Pre-bus tables discreetly, ensuring a clean and refined dining environment.
Support in running food from the kitchen, ensuring proper plate placement and presentation.
Assist in maintaining proper course pacing by coordinating with servers and chefs.
Polish and prepare glassware, silverware, and tableware to maintain fine dining standards.
Ensure all service stations are stocked, organized, and spotless throughout service.
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in pre‑shift meetings to discuss menu changes, VIP guests, and service notes.
1+ years of experience in fine dining or an upscale hospitality setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest and server needs.
Familiarity with wine service, food presentation, and luxury dining standards is a plus.
