Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our team. The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional need of the patients, providing age-and developmentally-appropriate diet planning, education and assuring quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System and the American Dietetics Association.The Registered Dietitian will work closely with our CNO and Director of Food Services.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Masters Degree preferred.Prefer one year of clinical dietitian in a health care environment.Prior work with a mental health population strongly desired.Maintain current registration with the American Dietician Association as a Registered Dietitian.Licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Pennsylvania.Prefer knowledge of age appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning and food and drug interactions.UHS subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers and as such, openly support and fully commit to recruitment, selection, placement, promotion and compensation of individuals without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), genetic information, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
