Part-Time Head of Operations

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice or voice and piano instructor to teach part-time at Music House School of Music, Lenexa and Overland Park locations. Teachers are primarily needed for Monday and Thursday nights between 3-9pm . Teaching private lessons in a way that builds on the strengths and interests of the student.

Leading group classes through the Music House curriculum.

Assisting with three community events per year (recitals, jam sessions, faculty concerts).

Communicating and interacting with parents, fellow teaching faculty, and administrative staff.

Signing students up for and preparing them for group and individual performances.

Bachelor's degree in music education or performance is preferred.

Performance experience in both an individual and ensemble setting.

Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking and listening).

This posting is for Music House School of Music, our Lenexa and Overland Park, KS locations. Music House teachers are members of a team of over 25 teachers and 10 administrators who work collectively toward the development of a strong organization. However, our team-focused communal environment can seem very dierent for anyone with prior experience independently teaching private lessons. Music House is a place of growth, collaboration, and constant change.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24-28 per hour
