Senior Helpers of San Luis Obispo County is hiring compassionate home care aides dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.

Competitive pay scales starting from $20.00 per hour
Flexible scheduling that works with your availability (4-12 hour shifts, AMs/PMs, Overnights, Weekends)
PAID required online training and access to on-going learning
PAID travel time (same day between clients), mileage reimbursements

Specialized training and opportunities for personal certifications

Serving clients across San Luis Obispo County including San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Los Osos, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande, Cayucos, Templeton, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Avilla Beach, Nipomo and Santa Maria.
Home Care Aide Duties
Companion Care: Companionship, activities, hydration and nutrition reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and running errands, meal prep, laundry, med reminders, rides to errands and appointments.
Personal Care : (In addition to Companion care duties) Grooming, stand-by or assist with showering and toileting, fall prevention, Parkinson’s and dementia care, monitor vitals and report changes in care needs.
Running errands - requires use of personal vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) and active Drivers License and Auto Insurance
Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
Read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
Register with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (PAID)
