About the Position
Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:5-6. Weekend requirement: 12-16 shifts per contract.

• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
• Up to 7 days of approved time off during contract period

Requirements:
Current North Carolina or Compact State RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical or Telemetry experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to start date
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, wound care/wound vac, and non-invasive airway management
Experience with isolation precautions, PCA pumps, heparin protocols, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and colostomy/feeding tube care
Ability to float to other units as needed and work flexible schedules based on unit needs
Willingness to serve on Storm Team/Hurricane Team and report during catastrophic events or disasters as required
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
