The Pipefitter Foreman oversees and coordinates the installation of HVAC piping systems and equipment on construction projects. Foster a culture of quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork.
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned crew members to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
Attend weekly job site meetings in-person to communicate and address constraints.
Plan, organize, and assign tasks to effectively utilize labor, equipment, and materials.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate updates to supervisors or project managers.
Inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
Ensure all crew members follow company policies and safety procedures, conducting safety meetings and job hazard analyses as required.
Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices and journeymen.
Identify potential issues or delays and communicate them proactively to project management and superintendent.
Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and secure.
Perform other duties as required to support project success and company goals.
Minimum of five years of HVAC Piping experience, including journeyman-level work and demonstrated leadership skills.
In-depth understanding of codes, commercial HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction methods.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scheduling practices.
Ability to manage personnel, allocate resources, and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
Proficient with basic computer applications and scheduling or reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, ACC, Procore, planning calendars).
Knowledge in Pipe Welding, an ASME qualification is a plus.
Will be required to work hands on with the crew.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
