Job Summary As a Truck Driver at RLH Fire Protection, Inc. you will play a vital role in supporting our Fleet department. You will help transport material, tools, and equipment to various job sites in a safe and timely manner. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving record, clean driving record, and a professional attitude. This is a class A driving position, DOT regulations apply.

Essential Duties Safely operate company trucks to transport material, tools, and equipment from and to job sites.

Load and unload cargo ensuring it is properly secured and protected from damage.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Communicate effectively with the fleet manager and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.

Assist with fleet maintenance tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, and reporting any mechanical issues.

Adhere to delivery schedules and timeframes to ensure timely delivery of material.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Experience with operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or boom lifts (preferred not required).

Knowledge of local and regional roadways.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Job Requirements Clean driving record and valid Class A driver's license.

Load and unload cargo.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Related Experience Previous delivery experience preferred.

Previous experience in construction preferred.

Safety/Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to walk without seating for extended periods

This position requires constant climbing, squatting, lifting, and pulling

Hand and finger dexterity required

Ability to work in varying outdoor temperatures

Ability to walk on and move equipment on varying terrains.

Education Highschool diploma or equivalent

A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements
