Responsibilities Teaches lectures sections
Evaluates and advises students
Develops curricula
Recruits students
Serves on committees
Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed Master's degree in Psychology; or a Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology or Counseling
Possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with students
Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
Must be able to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
Qualifications and Credentials In accordance with Rule 6A-14.064, F.A.C., College Credit Dual Enrollment Courses offered at secondary school locations, this position requires all candidates be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC’s Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master’s degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s).
