Bartender/Cashier

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile team member to join our front-of-house staff in a hybrid Bartender/Cashier role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves guest interaction, and excels at both crafting drinks and handling transactions with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Bartending Duties

Craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with expertise and creativity.

Make drink recommendations tailored to guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar that complies with health and safety standards.

Verify the age of patrons to enforce legal drinking age policies.

Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Provide engaging and knowledgeable responses to guest inquiries about beverage offerings.

Cashiering Duties

Greet guests warmly and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Operate POS systems, registers, printers, and scanners with accuracy.

Accept payments, issue receipts, make change, and maintain accurate cash handling.

Assist customers with machine operation or technical difficulties as needed.

Provide regular reports to management and assist with promotional campaigns.

Run errands or assist with miscellaneous tasks as requested during down time.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older with a valid TABC certification.

High school diploma or GED required.

Prior experience in bartending and/or cashiering preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking.

Ability to stand for 68 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Bilingual (especially in Spanish) is a strong plus.
