Unit Technology

All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.

Acute Care Adult Post-Surgical Unit / Acute Medical Unit (6 East)

Post-surgical patients from approximately 14 different service lines

Acute Medical

Care for NG, catheter, tracheostomies, chest tubes, wound vacs, various drains

Staff work with LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT & OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians.

Unit Capacity

34 bed spaces (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or acquires within 90 days of hire
