Job Summary:

The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) in Manchester, Connecticut. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires previous travel experience and clinical expertise in emergency nursing.

Job Details:

Location: Manchester, Connecticut

Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)

Shift Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), with Every Other Weekend (EOW) and rotating holidays

Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Emergency Room RN; previous travel nursing experience; current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Meditech and EPIC; valid license to practice as an RN.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling transition periods such as the hospital transitioning from Meditech to EPIC EMR systems.

Additional Information: No float rotation is required for this assignment. Candidates should be prepared to handle a dynamic ER environment with the ability to manage various clinical situations.
