Dayshift Caregivers for Home Care

LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS AND CNAs WITH WEEKDAY DAYSHIFT AVAILABILITY ONLY
As a Caregiver- at Assisting Hands of Greater Cleveland, you will be responsible for providing essential daily living assistance to our clients. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that we deliver supportive and compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. You will work on-site in Independence, Ohio, offering the flexibility to contribute to our community's well-being.
Key Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by care plans.
Foster a compassionate and respectful relationship with clients, ensuring their dignity and independence.
Document care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members to enhance care quality.
Qualifications You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
At least 1 year of caregiving experience either in a facility or in a home.
Demonstrated experience in providing care to the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to speak English fluently.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership in providing care.
Bonus If You Have experience with specialized care programs such as dementia or Parkinson's care.
Possess additional certifications, such as CNA/STNA.
Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with clients and families.
Employment Type & Availability This position requires Monday through Friday 1st shift availability.
Location This position is for home care for individuals living throughout Cuyahoga County.
