Level 1 Clinician with 0-6+ years of experience that performs diagnostic ultrasound images, produces documentation, and shares essential information with health care personnel to diagnose and monitor a variety of conditions.

Facilitates diagnostic results by obtaining, reviewing, and bringing together pertinent patient history, physical examination, and supporting clinical data.

Uses highly technical sonography equipment to produce images of structures inside the body.

Performs quality control tests.

Effectively communicates with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and radiologists.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Reports and documents all malfunctions and/or needs for service on all equipment, including troubleshooting problems, calling for service, and communicates the problem to all pertinent team members and supervisors.

Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies with facility policies/procedures.

Assists the Research Department with clinical trial scans.

Candidate needs to be proficient in echocardiography, vascular, abdomen, GYN, and small parts.

Must provide personal vehicle to transport all equipment.

Willing to travel to any clinic to perform duties as needed.

This job requires use of machines and equipment located onsite.

Certifications / Licenses / Education / or Experience in a related field

Graduate of a JRC-DMS accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Preferred Mandatory Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Candidate needs to be proficient in echocardiography, vascular, abdomen, GYN, and small parts.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Must be able to push and maneuver heavy imaging equipment and patient transport devices.

Bending and Reaching: Must bend, stoop, twist, and reach to position patients and operate equipment.

Although shielded, technologists must work near radiation-producing equipment and follow strict safety protocols.

have sufficient visual acuity to distinguish structures and isodose displays on a computer monitor. Additionally, must be able to align treatment fields and monitor patients during radiation therapy treatment.
