Nurse Hospital Care - Surgery RN

Title: RN - Med/Surg
Shift: 7:30 AM-8:00 PM
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients.
Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications.
Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team on discharge planning.
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate patient records, medical charts, and health documentation.
Adhere to established nursing standards, best practices, and clinical protocols.
Acute Care Facilities
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in a large acute care hospital.
Post-Acute Facilities
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a post-acute facility or acute care hospital.
Medical-Surgical Nursing
Wound Care
Infection Control
IV Therapy
Post-Operative Care
Telemetry Monitoring
EPIC EMR experience

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited nursing program.

Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN License
