RN for Nursing Care Home and Rehabilitation

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct and indirect patient care in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on residents in specialized units including memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care. The role involves collaborating with care teams to ensure a safe, compassionate, and effective healing environment.
Deliver skilled nursing care to residents across multiple units, including memory care, rehabilitation, and long-term care.
Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and conditions.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies such as IV therapy and wound care accurately.
Monitor resident responses to treatments and document findings in compliance with facility policies.
Adapt to floating assignments across units, providing consistent quality care in varied settings.
Hold a valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
Possess 1-3 years of previous RN experience in a long-term or rehabilitative care setting preferred.
Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and clinical skills.
Ability to understand behavioral cues and communicate effectively with dementia and Alzheimer's residents.
Be willing to float between units as required.
