QA Automation Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer / QA Lead with a minimum of 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Quality Assurance, including Automation Testing, Performance Testing, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring product quality, managing defects, and leading QA initiatives across multiple projects and domains.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

Lead end‑to‑end testing activities, including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, Automation, and Performance Testing.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, or similar technologies.

Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.

Execute test cases, analyze results, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.

Manage defect lifecycle, track issues, and collaborate closely with development teams for resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and adherence to QA best practices.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.

Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership to QA teams.

Generate test execution reports, quality dashboards, and release readiness assessments.

Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Strong experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.

Extensive experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.

Hands‑on experience with Performance Testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or ALM.

Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
