The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in a high-volume restaurant. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitized, and readily available to support efficient kitchen operations.

Operation commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors, and waste stations
Support kitchen team by restocking clean dishes and supplies promptly
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Maintain proper chemical usage and safety standards
Assist with basic kitchen preop or cleaning tasks as assigned
Report equipment malfunction or safety concerns to management
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred, not required
California Food Handler Certificate required upon hire
Must be familiar with proper use of chemicals, and draining, and filling dish machines

HOUSING

Accommodation generally includes shared bedrooms, shared bathrooms and a community kitchen. Housing is subject to availability and cost will vary based on location.

The pay scale for this position ranges between $21.50-$22.50 per hour depending on the work location.

This position works in a busy restaurant environment that can be warm, noisy, and fast-paced. This role involves indoor and outdoor environments. Requires dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. This position requires a flexible schedule, with rotating weekday and weekend shifts, including day, night, and holiday hours.
