Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.
Night Shift: 3x12.0 hours
The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care by delivering intensive respiratory support and assisting with patient transport within the facility as per medical prescriptions and professional licensure scope. The therapist evaluates patient conditions, recommends treatment plans, and educates patients regarding treatment procedures, test explanations, and discharge information.
Conduct physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using various ventilatory and aerosol equipment to provide medications, humidification, and oxygenation.
Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning as required to promote patient health.
Review and evaluate patients' chest x-rays for further analysis.
Maintain accurate respiratory therapy records and communicate essential information during shift changes.
Follow all policies and procedures regarding laboratory testing and quality controls.
Current Respiratory Therapist licensure.
Experience with mechanical ventilation and various therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.
