The Brown Deer School District, a district of character, has an immediate need for a high school Math Teacher, with a passion for teaching and building strong relationships. The position will be teaching high schools math courses such as Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Our ideal candidate will plan and deliver data-driven instruction that is relevant and meets the diverse needs of the 21st Century student. In addition to focusing on student achievement, the candidate must possess the ability to collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues in a professional learning community.

Demonstrate a clear commitment to adult and adolescent development and learning, and collaboration with a growth mindset in his/her Professional Practice.

• Implement Project, Problem and/or Inquiry-based instruction aligned with standards and outcome-based / performance assessments.
• Plan for various student needs (including the use of developmentally appropriate materials).
• Use and integrate technology in classroom and project instruction.
• Maintain open and consistent communication about student progress, concerns and achievement with families and the school community.
