Job Title: Packer Job Description

The Packer plays a key role in supporting production by accurately packing, inspecting, and preparing products to meet customer requirements and quality standards. Work closely with machine operators and team members to ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Inspect product output to confirm it meets all specifications and established quality standards.

Perform visual inspections and verify measurements throughout the production flow.

Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned to support production and shipping activities.

Handle packing, labeling, packaging, and shipping tasks to prepare products for delivery.

Use basic measuring tools to verify product dimensions and ensure correct packaging.

Read and interpret work orders to determine packing, labeling, and shipping requirements.

Ability to stand for long periods while performing packing and inspection duties.

Ability to walk, sit, bend, and talk on the phone as needed to support production and coordination.

Skill and experience in packing, production support, labeling, packaging, and shipping activities.

Strong command of English, both written and spoken, to follow instructions and communicate with team members.

High school diploma or GED required.

At least 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.

Comfort working around machinery, materials, and production equipment.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a first-shift role with working hours from 6:30 a.m. The position is based in modern manufacturing facilities designed around safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Team members work around machinery, materials, and equipment and must remain alert and safety-focused throughout the shift. The work involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to and over 50 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks in a clean, organized production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Brunswick, NJ.
